DSS activists stage dharna at Kengeri TMC office

BANGALORE, Jan 29

Members of Bangalore south unit of Karnataka Dalit Sangharsha Samithi staged a dharna in front of the Town Municipal Council (TMC) of Kengeri demanding basic amenities in the locality in the City today.

The protesters took out a rally from Kengeri satellite town to the TMC office. They demanded that an underpass be constructed near the Railway gate to facilitate the easy flow of traffic to Kengeri satellite town.

The other demands of the protesters included, construction of the proposed community hall in Mariayappana Palya, repair of Government Primary School building in Gandhinagar, asphalting of Kengeri 1st Main Road.
