Kanshi Ram describes NDA govt "sinking ship"

PHAGWARA: Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) chief Kanshi Ram has described Vajpayee government at the centre as a "sinking ship" following dismal performance of NDA in the recently concluded polls to five assemblies and asked the coalition partners to leave it to escape being drowned.

"BJP is a sinking ship and those who ventured to board it would definitely drown as has been shown in state elecion results which will adversely affect the NDA government," Kanshi Ram told reporters here after a party rally.

He said the NDA government should have quit in the wake of the Tehelka expose after ''losing the moral right to run the government and the people being fed up with the BJP.''

Kanshi Ram also asserted that the Congress was also on the wane and claimed the BSP was gaining ground. (PTI)
