The BSP Chief, Kanshi Ram, has inspired to analyse their vote value and work for attaining power. Addressing a public meeting at Goraya sub-division on Monday evening, he accepted his mistakes for ignoring Punjab politics and said I was busy in those states having above 40 MPs of the BSP, but now I would work to get power in Punjab.

He said the BSP would contest on all 117 assembly seats and try to get more than 60 assembly seats, which would be sufficient to make state government. He clarified that government could not be formed with announcements of making streets, drains, dharamshalas, but it could be made only with the united strength of Bahujan society.

Addressing the rally and later talking with newspersons at Goraya, the BSP Chief said the BSP had clarified and refused to join in so-called third front and claimed that only the BSP was the third political power in the state. He strongly criticised the Punjab Chief Minister, Mr Parkash Singh Badal, for ignoring the interests of Dalits.
