Nehru statue to be erected in Kerala legislature complex

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Kerala government on Thursday decided to erect a statue of the country's first Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru at the legislature complex in the city.

Chief Minister A K Antony told newsmen after a meeting of the state cabinet that the government had earlier taken a decision to instal the statues of Mahatma gandhi and Dr B R Ambedkar within the legislature complex.
