Punjab Congress rules out truck with BSP

CHANDIGARH: Punjab Pradesh Congress president Capt Amrinder Singh has ruled out forging an alliance with the Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) for the forthcoming Assembly elections in the state.

"BSP has completely lost its mass base in the state and has no standing in the political field," he told newsmen here on Sunday night.

Talks were in progress with the CPI to contest the polls jointly, Singh said. (PTI)
