Taking a serious view of the recent killings of Dalits in Uttar Pradesh, the Samata Sainik Dal (SSD) had decided to stage protests in Delhi. According to SSD National Organising Secretary, Ashok Bharti, a memorandum would be submitted to the Prime Minister seeking redressal and stern action against the culprits. The SSD was founded by Dr. B. R. Ambedkar in 1920s.
