She has not realised mistakes: Krishnasamy

By Syed Muthahar

TIRUNELVELI, APRIL 26. The AIADMK leader, Ms. Jayalalitha, has not changed a bit and has not realised the serious mistakes she committed when she was in power, even after getting convicted for corruption charges, the Puthiya Tamizhagam founder-president, Dr. K. Krishnasamy, said today.

Speaking at an election meeting on the Palayamkotti Jawahar maidan here, Dr. Krishnasamy said the Jayalalitha regime proved a haven for corrupt elements and no efforts were initiated for understanding the problems confronting the economically weaker sections and for the implementation of development and welfare schemes. There was no guarantee that Ms. Jayalalitha would not repeat her past mistakes if she was voted back to power. Referring to her statement that she continued to be the chief ministerial candidate on behalf of the AIADMK alliance, Dr. Krishnasamy said she is not magnanimous enough to give this post to some other leader of her party.

Speaking at meetings in the Alangulam constituency last night, seeking support for the Law Minister, Mr. Aladi Aruna, Dr. Krishnasamy highlighted the various schemes the Government had launched for the depressed sections.

He said some problems of the Dalits were yet to be solved, and only the return of the DMK Government would help in addressing these issues.
