BSP popular in five states: Kanshiram

The Hindustan Times,
(Nasik, Oct 9)

Bahujan Samaj Party(BSP) President, Kanshiram has claimed that the party has made its presence felt in five states because of which the election commission has accorded it the status of a national party.

Addressing a public meeting in powerloom town of Malegaon, about 90 km from here, on Sunday, Kanshiram said the party would oppose BJP's move to amend the constitution.

He alleged that those who believed in Dr B R Ambedkar's Thoughts had remained inactive, giving BJP a chance to think of making changes in the constitution.
