Dalit students humiliated
Deccan Chronicle, 29th Sept.2000 Maldakal (Mahbubnagar), Sept. 28: The Dalits of Amaravayi village alleged that headmaster of the ZP High School B Prabhakar Reddy was insulting Dalit students in the school. They alleged that the headmaster abused a Dalit boy in the name of caste, when the latter went to have a glass of water from the office room. The boy was latter beaten up. The Dalits urged the district education officer to inquire into the issue and transfer the headmaster from the place. . |
