PUNE: The second state level (Mulnivasi) Indigenous Matang caste awakening and training convention was held on 17th March 2002 at Ganesh Krida Kala Manch, Nehru stadium, Near Swar gate station, Pune. The convention was inaugurated by Mr. Waman Meshram, National president, BAMCEF. Three awakening and training sessions were kept for the whole day. The convention was inaugurated at 11 :00 am and the subject kept for discussion was "The involvement of Matang caste in the Phuley-Ambedkarite movement, Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow." The Second awakening session began at 2:30 pm and the subject kept for discussion was "The Arya-brahminical religion had created the slavery mentality of Matang caste people". The last session of awakening was started at 6:00 pm and the topic for discussion was "The social, financial, cultural, political and religious problems of the Matang caste people and solutions over it." Mr. Ankal Sonawane, conveyor -Mulnivasi Sangh and Mr. Shantaram Ranshungare, State president, Maharashtra, BAMCEF took efforts to make this convention a grand success.

Nandurbar:
The Mulnivasi Adivasi (Indigenous Tribals) Parishad at Nadurbar
The statewide Mulnivasi Adivasi convention was organised by BAMCEF on 10th Feb. 2002 at Sanjay Gandhi auditorium, Nandurbar The convention was inaugurated by general secretary of state body and Adivasi social activist Raujibhai Patel. The subject kept for discussion in the inaugural session was "The social, financial, cultural, political and religious problems of the Matang caste people and solutions over it." In the afternoon session the invited speakers gave their views on the topic "Mulnivasi Adivasi:' The victims of Gandhiji and Congress's politics and the problem of starvation which has arise from it. The topic for evening session was "The brahminisation of Mulnivasi Adivasi-Campaign to make them slave". The invited speakers put their views on why the Adivasis are called as Vanvasis and all. Al the sessions were presided by Mr.Waman Meshram, National President, BAMCEF 


SARAN I and INDORE (Madhya Pradesh)
To increase the network and spread the network of BAMCEF in M. P, one day cadre camp was organised at Sarani and Indore. The cadre camp was organised on 18th Feb. 2002 at Kerala Bhawan, Sarani, Betul. Almost 125 delegates attended the cadre camp. Another camp was organised on 3rd March 2002 at Buddha Vihar, Indore. The camp was attended by almost 50 delegates. The cadre camp was presided by Mr. Dharmesh Gajbhiye, Full time worker, BAMCEF. Special efforts were taken by Laxman Bhumkar, Trilok Lokhande, Madhukar Khatkar, R N Hurmade, Manoj Wankhede, Mrs. Ramabai, Mr. Ahirwar and Rajesh to make these cadres camps more than successful. 


Third Vidarbha Zonal Conference and Awakening Camp NAGPUR
The Third Vidarbha Zonal conference and awakening camp was organised on 23rd March 2002 at Mangal Mandap, Kadabi Square, Kamptee Road, Nagpur. The conference was inaugurated at 11 :00 am The. first Awakening session started at 11 :00 am and ended at 1.30 pm. The topic kept for debate and discussion was " The real weapon to destroy the social system is not the inter caste dining and inter caste marriage, but to destroy all those religious notions on which the foundation of the social system is built". Prominent speakers who kept their views were Dr. Pradeep Aaglawe and Pradeep Meshram. The afternoon session resume at 2 30 pm and the brainstorming session kept was "The balance reading of the "Dalit concept" and "Mulnivasi concept" in the line of Phuley-Arnbedkarite movement." Dr. Praksh Kharat and Prof. Jemini Kadu put their views on the above topic. The topic for evening session was "The conspiracy of Poona Brahmins of maligning the character of Dr. Ambedkar in the recently launched Movie. " Prominent speakers who keep their views were Mr. Sanjay Jiwane, Dr. Dhaware and others. All the above said sessions were preside by Mr. Waman Meshram, National President, BAMCEF. Mr. M.B. Tirpude, Vidarbha President, BAMCEF took serious efforts to make this camp more successful.

First State wide Adivasi Awakening and trainmg camp.
The first statewide Adivasi(Tribals) awakening and training camp was organised on 24th March 2002. The camp was ianugurated by Dr. Govind Gore, IAS, rune at 11 :00 am. The session was presided by Mr.Waman Meshram, National President, BAMCEF. Four brainstorming sessions were kept for debate and discussion. In the inaugural session Dr. Govind Gore, Mr. L. K. Madavi, Mrs. Yashodabhen Pravinbhai and Mr. Waman Meshram put their views  on the topic " Are Adivasis capable of accepting every challenge of the 21st century- A critical analysis" Social programs were organised between 2:30 pm to 3 :00 pm followed by another brainstorming session for students, ladies and youths. The topic kept for discussion was "The pre independence and Post Independence, Independence movement of Adivasis- The present and future conditions" The third topic for debate and discussion was "Why after the 54 years of independence the Indigenous Adivasi castes are slave and helpless?". Fourth brainstorming session was "To call the Adivasis as "Vanvasis" by the arya brahmins is nothing but a part of conspiracy to destroy their original identity of the Indigenous and make their identity as Hindus". Proinent speakers who gave their views were, Mr.L.K.Madavi, Mr. Chamulal Rathada and Dr.  Vinayak Tumadam All the above said sessions was presided by Mr. Waman Meshram, National President, BAMCEF.
