Senior Activists Delegate Session (Concluding session)

Mr. D.J. Sommaiya (Rajkot, Gujarat)
He said that, from 1996 he left his service and devoted his whole time for the development of BAMCEF. I could not fulfill the target given for Gujarat state for the national convention though I had tried my best. In this convention I had tried for participation of delegates from each district of Gujarat, but I could not succeed fully. This might be as I was not feeling physically fit. But in future the things will not be repeted and whatever target will be given for Gujarat state, I assure you to fulfill it.

Mr. W.N. Vaidya (Faridabad, Haryana)
He said that at present he is working in two states Delhi and Haryana simultaneously. Delegates from some of the districts of Haryana had participated in this convention. From Delhi delegates had doubled that of Patna Convention. I am also handling the activities of Mulnivasi Publication thrust. In Delhi the work has been planned in 25 vidhansabha constituencies. Specifically we had concentrated on that part of Delhi were our indigenous people are dominating and the result through participation had been reflected in this convention. There are problems in every states, every area. But if proper planning is done and it is implemented then we can easily get the results.

Mr. B.D. Rathod (Gujarat)
Speaking his experiences during one month field work, he said that for this Lucknow convention experience was very bitter and surprising one. Once I went to one of the officer here in Lucknow for explaining him about the 17th National Convention. After listening all the things finally he told that for this convention there must be expenditure in lakhs. I replied offcourse. After that he took out Rs. 50/- note from his pouch and gave it to me. I was really surprised. The persons who are capable of paying back to the society, the debt, which they are having of the society are totally ignorant. They don’t realise about their debt. But the same is not case in Gujarat. There officers are well aware of the dept, and they if not by time but through money are paying back their depts. I think some of the officers in lucknow are not aware of the dept. We will have to make them realise.

There were so many obstacles while doing preparations for the convention. Besides this the field work was done in such a planned manner which resulted in participation of more delegates in this convention. I hope that now no one will stop the growth of BAMCEF in this aryavrat. I noted some discrepancies in our delegates. Though donation coupons are circulated to them 3 months before the convention, they start the work so lately and continue it till the date of convention. If the delegates are confident in doing the donation collections in just last 15 days then if they planned, they can do it even two months before and can concentrate for participation of delegates in the last period. This will be more output oriented and I would appreciate this type of planning. I hope this will be taken into consideration for the next year convention so that the same will be more successful than this year.

Mr. N. Gangadhar (Andhra Pradesh)
He said that the work of BAMCEF was started in 1997 in Andhra Pradesh. We had tried our every effort to spread the ideology of BAMCEF, first to the Ambedkarite people. With there cooperation we could establish BAMCEF units in 9 districts out of 23 districts of Andhra Pradesh. We had organised cader camps in these districts to explain the Phule Ambedkarite ideology, movement, our history to the people. For this we had concentrated more on ST and OBC people. These people are more impressed with the ideology and expressed their willingness to join the social movement of BAMCEF. In the coming year we had planned to increase our network to 9 more districts of Andhra Pradesh. For this I request to senior persons of BAMCEF to give special consideration to Andhra Pradesh.

Mr. Shankar Das (Punjab)
Speaking on the experience of delegates of Punjab and the network there he said that due to so many rise and fall in BAMCEF activities, Punjab had suffered much. Besides this the activities in Punjab had speed up in last two years. As compared to last year, the developments had increased this year. But it is less to our expectations. This year our national leader Mr. Waman Meshram had given enough consideration to Punjab and we expect the same for next year. I will try my best to not to repeat the discrepancies that were made this year at our end. Every delegate had tried his level best to increase the network and they had achieved it. Specifically I am really thankfull to the organising secretary of Punjab.

Mr. J.D. Chandrapal (Ahmedabad, Gujarat)
Handling the publication activities in Gujarat, he said that the fourth pillar of democracy, the print and press media is not in our control. For this BAMCEF had developed its own publication wing and publishes four periodicals. Not only this but cheap literature for massive consumption is also published by BAMCEF. Side by side, BAMCEF is also developing its cadres to meet out the requirement of media and it has more concentrated on them. From Gujarat we are publishing Bahujananu Bahujan Bharat and persons who are involved in BAMCEF really appreciate the ideology given through the newspaper. There thinking is really different from common mans thinking. Because common mans thinking is one which is controlled by brahminism and which is in the interest of Brahminism.

Today, through some stooges in the name of reservation, constitution like matters, employees are feared of. And our enemy had targeted the reservation issue as most of the intellect employees are activity involved in the social movement like BAMCEF. Due to this Brahmanism is in danger hence reservation like issues are put forth before us. But we must not get fooled by these arya Brahmins. We will have to emphasise on social movement. If movement and organisation is there, not only reservation but all our problems will get resolved.

Mr. Ashok Parmar, Chairman General Body, BAMCEF
Addressing the delegates, he said that today is the last day of the 17th National Convention and we are towards the concluding part of it. You all must be noticing the developments in earlier conventions and present conventions. We had converted the national conventions into national level training camps. At present what problems we are facing or our society is facing are reflected in the topics that we designed. The relevant information on the topics are covered in the pamphlets also, though it is in brief. You had listened to various speakers that came from various part of India and abroad. The ideas that has been clarified here by various speakers will be utilised by our delegates throughout the year. The national conventions are participated by delegates from various part of the country and in national conventions we come to know the developments in their respective states. Hence it has its own importance.

I request all the delegates to improve their negative points and give stress on positive points. Within few days we are planning to launch an international outfit of BAMCEF and to start with we had invited Mr.Mulkiat singh Bahal from London. He had given his consent to help in increasing the network internationally and from organisation side I am really thankfull to him. I will appreciate if delegates after leaving Lucknow, will concentrate in their respective areas and increase the network with new enthusiasm, new ideas and in new areas.
