Dr. A. Rammaiah, who is working as professor in Tata Institute of Social Science, Mumbai (MS)and who is considered to be analyst of the problems of the society, said that there is a historical reason about economic points about which we are discussing here. There was Census on the basis of caste till 1931 under British rule. After independence, people of ruler community never took up the census on the basis of caste, it is done at several times and figures about SC & ST are given and then they say that status of there people was like this and now it has gone up, still they abuse. Today Govt. does not make available data on all aspect of our society. Some people are demanding census on caste basis but they are not doing it. For this they say that it will increase casteism. As census is not done on the basis of caste villagers have no information about census. So census should be on the basis of caste. If there is census of Brahmin on the basis of caste, it should be about how many people of you are in U.S.A., London. How much land property you have? How many of you are taking education. How many are employed in Govt. services. How many run computer and if there is census of SC, ST, OBC in similar way then it will be clear how much patriot these Brahmins people are, who were doing the work of sweeper and doing some work now also. No Brahmin has taken broom in his hand, they take education here and settle in abroad. Gandhi had also taken broom in his hand, then these people should also take broom in their hand & sweep. These people don't sweep, because they don't get much money in this. It is a dirty work, everybody will be unhappy due to this and these people always brand us enemy of country and consider themselves as patriots. If there is census on the basis of caste, it will be clear who are the enemy of this country and who are patriots.
        He said they can do any work in which they will get good money. There was a person from Madras who used to sell liquor. He earned lot of money in the business of liquor. After that he thought to invest this money to earn more money from it. He constructed one temple. People donate money in temple and there is no income tax on this income and he gets lot of income. In this way, temple has not become unholy even though it was constructed out of money earned from liquor business. In the similar way, there are so many temples where lot of money is donated and there is lot of income, but only Brahmins have monopoly on this. they don't sit in temple. Because they love God, they sit there to get lot of money and money earned by sweeping is very less. He said that, I have data of SC, ST, only because there is no census on caste basis in our country. He appealed to all the delegates who came from all over the country that they should be census on the basis of caste next time. How the Brahmins are patriots when majority of Indians livings in Indo- Europe are Brahmins. They always create such atmosphere and say that there is no merit in the people belonging to SC, ST, OBC. These people joins services on the basis of reservation only. The people who criticise SC,ST, OBC that these people have no merit some people demand reservation when they go to U.S.A., London and they refuse to give these Brahmins, reservation, saying that they have no merit. In such a way these people demand reservation there. He told about the figures given below poverty line on about SC, ST on the basis of 1991 census. The person who earn Rs. 205.84 is below poverty line. 47 to 50% people in SC are poor. 51% are poor in ST and 31% among rest. 47% of SC/ST taken together are poor. In the entire country 36.7% people are under poverty line. In the 54 years of Independence, there is a steep increase in the people living below poverty line.
      About the data of land he said,  39% people in our country have lands but if we think about SC, 53% of them have no land. This data is about rural area. 30% of ST people have no land. Data about the people who are agricultural land labourers is surprising. These people are 59% in our country and these include people of our society only. Figure of the people who had land but it was grabbed afterward, is increasing data given by Govt. about beneficiaries of IRDP indicates that SC have got more benefit from it. He said there is adverse effect on the health of persons who are economically weak on the basis of data of 1998. If 1000 children takes birth in SC, 88 from them die in first 6 months. In cities also, it is 75.7%. Among 1000 children 43 die between 6 months to 35 months. It is regarding SC.
       Hon. A. Rammaiya further said that, it is written in manusmriti, what should be the economic status of the poor people. It has also been written in Manusmriti, what should be our role in the field of education. Our sociology is based on this. Something has been written about women also in Manusmriti. All the women have been considered below Shudras. There are women from SC, ST, OBC in the 50% women in the country, but in this a Brahmin women and not a woman only. Now a day there is a new trends. If any Brahmin woman marry with man from our community, she does not write his name. In this way, today also this system is going on.
He further said that, when British came in this country and ruled, they did some work for SC, ST, OBS. These people started taking education. Then the ruling caste people started movement against British that they are enemy & they commit atrocities. Through such movement they pushed out British rule. When we see these figures we find that rulers came after British are more dangerous than British. They are suppressing and exploiting the people in the name of religion.
He said that today also we find poison of casteism in us which was mixed in our society by Brahmanism. Castes among us are engaged to prove each other as mean. So, First we have to throw out this dirt from ourselves & make ourselves indigenous people. There are so many organizations in our society. There are organisations of marxists, When I was studying in J.N.U, I used to stick posters or sing songs of these organisation and said leadership was in the hands of Brahmins, which continue today also. Later he said that we should work in our organisations only. For this we have to become only indigenous people & eradicate caste system.
