Rise in the Network
BAMCEF's 18th
National Convention was held at Ramlila Ground, New Delhi in December 2001,
which was the historical one. The success of networking program was noticed in
the convention. Delegates from 276 districts of 26 states participated in the
convention. Among the total 7200 delegates 1500 were from OBC community, 300
from tribal community and 50 delegates were of minority. This was the success of
networking program, that there was participation from each and every group. This
historical convention was also attended by 6 International delegates from 6
countries. The success of the convention inspired us to organise International
convention on 9th and 10th March 2002 in U.K. Planning has been made to get
participation of delegates from 100 countries in the national convention which
will be held in the year 2004.
Not
only this, but the website of BAMCEF was also launched in the convention so as
to spread the network at national and international level. Website is an
important tool to be in touch with our people abroad. All these activities lead
to the conclusion that BAMCEF's work has been speeded up and is rising day by
day.
Social Networking
We had
planned to spread the organisation not only geographically but also socially. In
this chain, the special campaign is already in the field to awaken the most
backward castes within scheduled castes. Also 8 state level conventions will be
organised in different parts for the tribal community to bring them in the
mainstream of the society. Two days national conference for most backward class
is organised in Lucknow (U.P.). Convention for minority class is supposed to be
held in Delhi.
In
the same chain, planning has been made to consolidate all these influential
class people, which can become part and parcel of the movement.
Special
efforts for the influential class.
Dr.
Ambedkar entrusted Doctor's, Advocates, Engineers to come forward to share the
social responsibilities. He was having much more expectations from officer
class. Today there are 'n' numbers of Pensioners wandering here and there All
these sections needs to join the social movement program. Dr. Ambedkar in his
speach at Agra, said that 'Educated people has deceived me!". Inspired and
motivated by the sense of responsibility, by taking a message embodied in the
spirit of this statement, BAMCEF has decided to organise a national level
convention constituting of Doctor's, Advocates, Engineers & Pensioners.
Employees, Workers, Cadres, Members and well wishers from amongst Mulnivasi
Bahujan society are also requested to participate in the convention and make it
a grand success.
