DALIT DEVELOPMENT

 

       Even if you make 100% Reservations for SCs&STs, neither will they be allowed to come up , nor will they come up.  For -

 

·                         There are the basic Caste Characteristics that always go against SCs&STs.  The brahmins and other dominant caste hindus (DCHs) have a basic instinct to appropriate everything goog in life for themselves, whether they are qualified or not, whether they are suitable or not, whether they deserve them or not, whether there are anyone better than them or not, and irrespective of the fact whether those are others shares or dues.  Thus they will never allow allow SCs&STs to get in anywhere or come up in life.

 

·                         There are the allround Caste Prejudices against the SCs&STs.  Hence there will be great jeajousy and intolleranc even for the smallest development and progress of any SC/ST.  These would result in severe silent or violent backlashes everywhere that all the SCs&STs would be sucked in and pushed down to the very bottom.  Thus the SCs&STs will not ever manage to come up.

 

·                         There are the evil Caste Dharmas of the Varnashrama System.  These traditionally tell or force the brahmins and the DCHs and their families, to put down the SCs&STs.  These will always stand against the SCs&STs.  Hence they will not allow any SC/ST to ever come up really.

 

·                         Then there are the Cste Conflicts and the Conflict of Interests.  The brahmins and DCHs will like to protect favour and benefit, even against all the norms, their own castes and communities, which are already well off.  The SCs&STs by reason would like to help the poor and the weak, who need to be and officially as per the norms and rules have to be helped.  Therefore there will arise the conflict of interests, one illegally and unfairly wanting to help the better off as against the need to develop the weak, and the other wanting to differ, follow the norms and willing to help the needy who have to be helped as per the calls of duty.  Because of these conflicts the SC&ST Officials themselves will be harmed and hurt, if they insist or go ahead with their work of helping the weak and the underprivilleged.

 

·                         Then there is the Selfish Streaks of the brahmins and DCHs, helping their own people at any cost in getting the jobs, in the postings, in promotions, and other facilities and benefits to them.

 

·                         Then there is the Reality of Corruption all around, specially amongst the brahmins and DCHs.  They will not do anything to others except on considerations, and reciept of bribes and speed money.  Since the SCs&STs are poor and marginalised, neither will they be in a position to pay, nor will they be allowed to pay and get away with it.  To say that they are honest, and justify the existance of DCH institutions like vigilance and anti-corruption wings of the offices and Govt, the SCs&STs will be caught and prosecuted if they try to bribe their way in.

 

      As a result of the above, at every step SCs&STs will be at disadvantage and be harmed and hurt in their work and offices within the services - by way of poor postings, difficult postings, distant postings, lack of exposures, no good trainings, no deputations, no central assignments, no foreign postings, no UN postings, no opportunities at all to go up and reach anywhere near the top.

 

     We have also stated that the SCs&STs will never come up by themselves.  Yes that is also true, and -

 

·                         The SCs&STs will never allow any other SCs&STs to come up unless there is a reason or consideration!  The reason could be the SCs&STs whom they help are related and are well connected either with them or someone else high up!  The other is consideration which everyone is aware of today, and needs no special mention or explanation!

 

·                         The SCs&STs are easily tempted, swayed and derailed, weak they being in their resolve and mind!  They easily go corrupt and compromise very easily for a very very small price or petty consideration.  Thus they are easily purchased and influenced, or forced to do favours to anyone other than the SCs&STs, and infavour of the brahmins and DCHs, at the direct cost of the SCs&STs

 

·                         The SC&ST officials and seniors are very jealous of other SCs&STs, strangely enough jealous of their junior SCs&STs.  That is really strange and odd

 

·                         The SC&ST officials are easily influenced by their own caste/tribe and sub-caste and sub-tribe and other considerations of mutual and internal differences, biases, prejudices and politics that they most of the times do not help other SCs&STs 

 

·                         They have strong likes and dislikes

 

·                         They don't have any Plans of Development

 

·                         They are short of understandings

 

·                         They don't have any long term Ideology

 

·                         They don't have or evolve any Strategies

 

·                         They don't often have clarity of Thoughts and Perceptions

 

·                         They often lack aims, objectives and goals

 

·                         Their thinking is Vague

 

·                         They Promote the Cheap, Corrupt, Cheats, Vain and Lumpen Elements
