Hope
You will find our Web Site useful and informative. The utility, growth and
future of the Site will depend on the usage, help, contributions,
encouragements, comments, criticisms, suggestions etc by friends like You, both
in India and abroad.
The
Web Site will have Papers on various specific issues of the Dalits of India
living in India and abroad. In future, it will also have one section about the
co-operation, exchange, discussions and networking with our Brothers and
Sisters from the other parts of the World. Here, You can find useful
information about the discriminated and exploited People from the other parts
of the World, and also how they are coping up with all the these, and are
fighting against them. We also have plans to introduce many other special
sections in the Site which we hope will prove to be useful for all our People
in due course of time and in the future.
For
the present, we are loading the Papers discussed by a small group, Social Study
Circle. We have placed these Papers for reference, use and future discussions
by friends and critics. We are not open to others. For we have no faith in
their honesty, knowledge, understanding and intelligence. Members of SSC, meet
regularly every week. SSC New Delhi meets on Wednesdays at 6.00 PM. Our friends
in other cities also convene their SSC meetings, regularly on any weekday they
find convenient. In course of time, You will hear from them also. Whenever You
happen to pass through or are in Delhi next time, please try to attend our
Meeting. You will meet some good friends, who happen to be in the meeting on
the day. We hope that you may find our Meetings good, useful and interesting.
You may have some good suggestions to make our Meeting more purposeful. Our
invitation to friends like You, is not just formal, but is a serious
Invitation. The Invitation also attempts to give You a small picture about SSC,
and what all we are planning to do.
We
here find the SSC Meetings very useful for ourselves, in the way we think,
understand and look at the new issues, dangers, threats, problems, challenges
and opportunities that confronts us. They help us to discuss, understand and
articulate our views and find answers, or at least our considered response to
the daily and deliberate prodding's and the problems being faced by us in our
schools, colleges, offices, workplaces and in the society. In fact, the Web
Site is the direct outcome of one such Paper. During the discussions on that paper
( Co-ordination amongst the Dalit Groups - the need of the hour ), it was felt
that we should soon have a Web Site. Thanks to the untiring efforts by our SSC
members, we now have this Web Site. We appreciate the great efforts and thank
all the friends for designing and evolving the Web, and for overcoming many of
the problems and teething troubles we faced in the early days.

hope You will join us to make this Site useful purposeful and progressive, and
also be available in the Service of not only our People, but also in joining
hands or extending our hands to all the discriminated, exploited, marginalized,
oppressed and suppressed of the World. It is our hope that we will grow, and
one day really Unite all the suffering People of the World, to build a truly
and really Civilised Society and a modern progressive Nation. Yes, this World
and India really does not belong to the Powerful and the Rich, or to the
Exploiters and Oppressors. All the People of the Earth, are the inheritors of
this World. In fact, the World actually belongs to the marginalized people,
suffering societies, struggling sections, toiling communities, fighting groups,
conscious individuals and the working classes of the World. Definitely not to
any parasites.
Friends,
let us make the longing of Lord Gautam Buddha, concerns of Jesus Christ, plans
of Muhammad Nabi, struggles of the Sikh Gurus, and the agony dreams and hopes
of Baba Saheb to build a Just Fair Free Equal and Egalitarian Society of
liberated People come true one day, at least in our times. At least let us pave
the way for the Dawn and the Coming Day of Awakening into a World of Freedom
with Justice, Liberty, Equality and fraternity amongst all. Let us think about
these. And let us join hands to work for these. Come, come and come with
friends and real good well wishers.
