A DALIT PERSPECTIVE

on

WORLD CONFERENCE AGAINST RACISM

RACIAL DISCRIMINATION, XENOPHOBIA AND RELATED INTOLERANCE

at

DURBAN, SOUTH AFRICA

PART I

DALITS, the SCs&STs of India are the Indigenous People of this Nation. They are the Adivasis of this Country. They are the Children of this Soil. They are the descendants of the Indus Valley Civilization of Ancient India. They are now the unfortunate suppressed millions of India.

Today’s SCs and STs, who number more than 260 million in India, and another 100 million in Pakistan, Nepal, Bhutan, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka where they have been living all along, and in Burma, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Mauritius, Fiji, Bahamas etc, are the Victims of the Caste System, that had originated in India long millenniums ago, during the interface of the Indus Valley People and the invading Aryan Settlers in the Indus Valley, around 2000 to 1500 BC. The sufferings of the SC&ST Dalits are silent and subtle most of the times, but are always cruel and intolerable. They are often criminal and horrendous. They are very difficult to understand, or gauge their dimensions and perceive them in their proper perspective. The SC&ST Dalits are living these days with a Damocles Sword over their head. Normally not easily understandable by others, the SC&ST Dalits live in silence because of the fear of threats and dangers from others. Their silence is akin to one not speaking out when a criminal behind the person holds out a sharp knife or a deadly gun unseen by others in the back.

The Dalits suffer from Social, Economic, Educational, Political and Cultural Discriminations. Their Women of all ages are subjected to various forms of Sexual Exploitations including molestations and rape. The SC&ST Dalits and their Children are even today specifically deprived of Education and denied Employment. But for the British, Muslims and Missionaries, the SC&ST Dalits would still be illiterate. They are marginalized in all walks of life. They are neglected at every turn in the society. They are cheated and robbed at every stage of Development. They are oppressed always. They are suppressed from growing up. Crimes humiliations and injustices are heaped on the SC&ST Dalits in every walks of life. The SC&ST Dalits' houses are looted. Their homes are burnt. Their women are raped. They are killed. They are mercilessly beaten up. They are criminally butchered in broad day-light in busy public places in front of others, even in big crowded public places like market places, bus-stands and railway stations. Still, no one comes up as a witness against those deliberately planned atrocities killings and murders. Serious injuries are caused to the SC&ST Dalits at the slightest provocation. No body questions these. Police hardly take any action, under the excuse that there are no witnesses, and assuming that no witnesses will be forthcoming on the side of the SC&ST Dalit Victims, and depose against the caste hindus who perpetrate regularly atrocities against the SC&ST Dalits to send home the message that the SC&ST Dalits should remain in their place of being unpaid or poorly compensated Social Slaves! No Govt ever prosecutes those who perpetrate these crimes. In short, no body cares for the SC&ST Dalits, even in the 21st Century of the Third Millennium. The main or the real reason for this is that the leaders, police and Govts are anti-SC&ST Dalit, and are composed of SC&ST Oppressors. In the Independent India, the Govt and Bureaucracy had always been brahmin Govts. The decisions taken by the Govt during the last fifty-four years were always brahmin decisions. They have all been taken only to reinforce the Caste System, strengthen their hold on the Govt and the Economy, and turn their own families relatives friends and Castes richer and powerful. Hence they have always been tolerating SC&ST Dalit Exploitation by their own caste hindu people in the society, and accept or turn a bild eye to the SC&ST Dalit Oppression by the bureaucracy. As a result of these all round indifferences to Dalit Discrimination Exploitation and Oppression, today every second a Dalit is being attacked unreasonably somewhere in this Country, every minute a Dalit is seriously injured, every hour a Dalit is Prosecuted, and every day a Dalit Official is Discriminated and victimized. Every week a Dalit Employee is denied promotion, and every month many many Dalits are thrown out of Jobs. Yet there is only stony silence on this front in India.

The Sufferings of the SC&ST Dalits are long, age-old, historic, and continuing realities. They are based on Racial, Ethnic, Colour, Height, Hair, Eyes, Nose, Lips and other Anthropological differences, and on Religious Ritualistic Cultural and Linguistic Considerations. Hence SC&ST Dalits of India, Pakistan, Nepal, Bhutan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Malaysia, South Africa etc are hoping to get some kind of Relief, Consideration and Change by taking their Issue before WCAR, at Durban. At least they are hoping for a focus on their problems. Minimum some light will be thrown over these issues, that in future the crimes against them will not be brusquely brushed aside by the Police, the Courts will not be acting funny while dealing with these cases, and the Govts will not be totally indifferent to them. They want to discuss their Problems based on Caste, Birth, Descent, Occupation, and Racial Discrimination.

The Claims Demands and Expectations of SC&ST Dalits today are justified, since WCAR is not a Conference on Race, but is concerned about Racial Discriminations. The Discussion is to be centered around Race as understood by the Sociologists, not on Race as defined in biology. WCAR wants to end all forms of Racism and Racial Discriminations. In fact, the Civilized World is today concerned more about Discriminations on grounds of vague reasons and justifications and issues like Race, ethnicity and origin. Therefore, the Civilized World Wants, desires and should work for ending all forms of Human Discriminations, whether they are based on Race or any other identifiable consideration. If the Problems of 360 million SC&ST Dalits of the World, including those 260 million plus helplessly trapped Dalits in hindu India that shamelessly promotes hindutva today, are not discussed in a World Conference Against Discrimination, then what for should such Conferences be held? Are they to hear India's Condemnation of the Dead Apartheid of South Africa, that may still linger here and there or perhaps in many other places, or to lecture to the British about the Problems of the Colored People there from India and elsewhere, or sermonize before the Americans about the Black Americans, or talk sitting on a high pedestal 'spiritual superiority' to the Europeans on other issues of Colour?

PART II

Castes and the Caste System are unique to India and the Indian Sub-Continent. They are the basis of discrimination in the Indian Society. Castes and Caste Discriminations spread from India and the Indian Sub-Continent, to many other parts of the World.

Divisions in the Society and Discriminations of the People are the unfortunate and perhaps an integral part of the history of most Countries in many parts of the World. But there is nothing like the evil Castes and Caste System of India. Maximum that other Societies and Countries have come up, are what the World recognizes and identifies today as Caste-like-Discriminations. They are Caste-like, but not exactly Caste or are as bad, as Criminal and as Cruel as the Caste Discriminations.

The Apartheid hoisted by the small numbers of powerful White armed to the teeth, over the heads of the simple helpless native indigenous millions of Black People in South Africa who were living in peace and harmony with nature was the one that came somewhat near the Caste Discriminations, as far as the Segregation, Suppression, Exploitation, Cruelties and Criminalities were concerned. But that Apartheid in South Africa was not completely rigid or water-tight and fool proof enough, to keep even the simple living Black People rendered poor and helpless by the white to remain silent, and the outside World be Ignorant about them, their sufferings and remain indifferent about the unjust system and practices of Apartheid. And so, there in South Africa the Exploitation of the Black Majority by the White lasted hardly for about four hundred years, and the practice of Apartheid as a policy much much less numbers of Decades. The Black People quickly rose against Apartheid and Exploitation, and the World rose against Apartheid with utter Contempt. When compared to Apartheid, it is surprising as to how the Castes and the Caste System with associated Discriminations continues still, even after over three to four millenniums in India. Yet, the World is still ignorant and had so far been indifferent about these issues and the dimensions of the Evils of the Caste System, and the inhuman criminal cruelties of Caste Discriminations.

The continuing or dormant conflicts between Jews and Palestinians, Protestants and Catholics, Christianity and Islam or Christians and Jews are only a few decades, centuries and a couple of millenniums old, as against the silent conflicts and unresolvable antagonisms in the Indian Society, between the SC&ST Dalits and dominant caste hindu brahmins kshatriyas and baniyas. This antagonism and conflict had been going on for many many many millenniums.

Discriminations of Jews World Over for over the last two to two and half millenniums, on some vague Racial Considerations, by their fellow men from their own lands, on grounds of religious ritualistic and cultural outlooks differences practices preferences and belief are the ones that come near the Caste Discriminations of SC&ST Dalits in India, as far as the length of continuing discriminations go.

Castes, Caste System and Caste Discriminations had started right from the days of destruction and dismantling of the ancient Indus Valley Civilization by the terrible invading barbaric cruel nomadic Aryans from Central Asia. With the collapse of Indus Civilization and the planned Ways of Life there, after the dispersal and scattering of Indus People, the SC&ST Dalits had lost their capacity and where-with-all to fight and resist the Caste Divisions, Caste System and Caste Oppressions. As a result, all forms of Racial Discriminations in the World on the basis of colour, hair texture, height, size of lips, shape of nose, and other physical features due to different origins, migrations, slavery, imprisonment, conquests, conflicts, enmity and antagonisms between different ethnic linguistic and religious groups lag far far, far and far behind the Castes, Caste System, Caste Discriminations, Caste Exploitations, Caste Oppressions, Caste Deprivations, Caste Denials, Caste Marginalisation, Caste Segregation, Caste Victimizations, Caste Violence, Caste Murders, Caste Killings, Caste Carnages and Caste Persecutions. They have been endlessly and ceaselessly haunting the SC&ST Dalits through out the History of India, over three to four millenniums.

Castes are part of the Indians. They are inseparable from the Indians and the Indian Society. For, the Castes are not only in the mind, but also in the blood, bones, flesh and in the skin of Indians. Castes are in the thoughts, cultures, belief, faith, religions, gods, goddesses, scriptures, epics, prayers, worship, rituals, practices, songs, sayings, talking, books, learning, teachings, work and life styles of the Indians. Castes, Caste Antagonisms and Caste Discriminations are there amongst the Indians, whatever be their age, education, experience, development, growth, position and status. Castes and Caste Discriminations are always with the dominant castes, whatever be their religion. Castes and Caste Discriminations grows with the dominant castes, goes with them, and flows out of them to infect others and even other societies where the Indians might have migrated, be that in Singapore or Surinam, Malaysia or Madagascar, Fiji or Finland, Germany or Ghana or Gold Cost, Indonesia or Denmark or Netherlands, Canada or USA, UK or South Africa.

Castes and the Caste System are the greatest evils that mankind might have ever evolved. They divide the People into clear Caste Groups, and confine each of the Caste Groups into strict water-tight compartments. One can stray out, at ones own risk; but such cases are rare, far and few in between. Even those who strayed out, had done so only when the underlying temptations and allurements were very very strong and irresistible. Even they invariably repent and comeback sooner or later, particularly at the time of or before the marriage of their sons and or daughters. For, the benefits and advantages of the Castes and the Caste System are real, material and unquantifiable. At least they are so for the dominant caste hindus, particularly the brahmins.

The brahmins share, some of the advantages accruing to them. from the Caste System designed by them and being controlled by them, with other exploiting Castes like the erstwhile ruling kshatriyas and trading baniyas. In return, they get physical protections from the state through the ruling kshatriyas, and material support and monetary benefits from the baniyas, for themselves and to sustain the system. Through all these, they maintain their cancerous grip over the society. The kshatriyas, in return get a spiritual sanction from the brahmins to be autocrats, and finances from the baniyas to comfortably rule over the people with crude iron grips over the masses, with out any fear of challenge from within the society. And the baniyas get religious approval from the brahmins to exploit the poor, administrative support from the kshatriyas and the legal cover from courts and the judiciary to still go around freely fearlessly and also with respect brought about by the accumulated riches and looted wealth. Together, the three squeezed the people endlessly and comfortably throughout the last three and half millenniums, irrespective of the fact who was in power and ruling the Indian Nation. This, inspite of the fact that successive invasions and conquests of India had brought in differing dynasties ruling over the Country and many parts of it. The only sufferers are the SC&ST Dalit Communities. The brahmin sitting at the top need not ever deal directly with any SC/ST to put him or her in place. That job was silently done by the kashatriyas or the baniyas, that too through some intermediary non-dominant castes. Whoever might have perpetrated the atrocities against the SC&ST Dalits to exploit the Dalits and perpetuate Caste Discriminations in India, had contributed his or her share to benefit the dominant caste hindus, particularly to uphold the supremacy dominance and the silent strong grip of the brahmins. Thus the Castes and Caste System and Caste Discriminations were preserved. That is the way the Castes and Caste System had survived over more than three and half millenniums, in spite of all the attacks oppositions and rebellions against them. And they had survived, in spite of all the dangers, harm and loss they had inflicted upon the Indian Society, Nation and People.

Today there are 260 million plus SC&ST Dalits in the Indian Union alone. That makes them the third largest People in the World after China and the whole of India. The 260 million plus SC&ST Dalits of India have the unique distinction of being at the last in every sphere. They are found only at the bottom layers of the Society, almost in every field. They are leaderless and asset less with out riches, wealth, education, jobs, salaries, income, and any party. No body in India cares for them. Teachers, administrators, leaders, parties, Govts, NGOs, Voluntary Organizations, International Organizations and even Donor Agencies do not bother about the SC&ST Dalits. Anyone deciding to help only look out and search for a BKB to help the Dalits. There is none to empower SC&ST Dalits, recognize SC&ST Dalit Groups, and identify potential good leaders.

Foolishly many in the World beat around the bush and try to split hair. Some do research, spend their time and waste others money, on the origins of the word Caste and its meanings. They hardly understand, and never try to measure the agony and sufferings of the SC&ST Dalits, three to four millenniums after the coming of the Aryans, and even after 54 years of India's Independence from the British Imperial Rule. Some look for age old discriminations amongst the SC&ST Dalits. Many search for historic privileges and life styles of the exploiters amongst the dominant caste hindus. Still others look for the expressions of arrogance contempt and cruel exercise of power by the kshatriyas. Many are taken-in by the subtle talk of the brahmin officials academicians leaders and politicians. Most others are at a loss after their smooth and slippery encounters with the vaishyas. And then some Indians hastily conclude that the hold of the Castes is weakening, feel that the Caste System is on the wane, tell that the Caste Oppressions have gone into history, and declare loudly and stupidly that the Caste Discriminations are coming to an end. But they are only simple plain fools, or big pre-meditating criminals.

The brahmins and other dominant caste hindus, benefiting from the Castes, the Caste System and the resultant Caste Discriminations, used to be pre-occupied with Castes claiming 'superiority' over others because of their Castes. But now a days the dominant caste hindus try to dismiss Castes, or are busy in sweeping them under the carpet. They brush the Cstes aside when confronted, or try to justify them very foolishly assuming that others are stupid. These days they are singing the canard, that the Aryans who constitute the main bulk of the dominant caste hindus, and the Avarnas who are the Caste-less Adivasi or Indegenous People, both belong to the same Race. They also say that the caste hindus are the builders of the Indus Valley Civilization, and not its destroyers. Some cunning brahmins now are trying to claim that the Caste System is a Division of Labour, and that the Caste System is in fact a Cooperate Sharing of Work in the Society or Allocation of Social Responsibilities for an Orderly Life, or Organization of the Community for a Peaceful Living! What a joke? If they are the builders of Indus Valley Civilization, who destroyed them? Who put an end to the building expansion and rebuilding of the Indus Settlements, after every Natural Calamity like Major Flooding and big Earth Quakes? Who brought an end to al those specialized craftsmanship and skills of the Indus Civilization People? Why technology, improvements, progress, development, inventions etc died out with the Indus Valley Civilizations? How the knowledge of the Great People of the Civilization was frozen and forgotten in many spheres? Why there is no literary and other link-ups between Indus Valley Records and the brahmins first text Rig Veda? How even the Language and Script of the Indus Valley People had vanished?

Castes are the creation of Varnavyastha or the Varnashram System, a product of Vedic Culture, and part of Rig Veda. Why were they always called as Varna or Colour, by the common People of India and Indian Origin, living in any part of the World? This, right from the villages to the cities, from play grounds to schools and universities, from streets to Govt Offices, from homes to political parties, from friends to the Govt Officials, from Parties to Govts even today! Why and how Varna or Colour has come to mean amongst the Indians, classifications, groupings, separation and segregation like Castes? If they are only a Division of Labour, why unjust divisions? Why unreasonable distribution of labour? Why irrational allocation of work? Why unfair returns? Why unequal wages? Why Oppression? Why Exploitation? Why the slavery? Why differential rewards? Why Discriminations? Why are they always loaded against SC&ST Dalits? How can they then be justified as Division of Labour, or Cooperative Sharing of Work, or Allocation of Social Responsibilities for an Orderly Life, or Organization of the Community for a Peaceful Living?

Why is there the Partial and Selective Exclusion of the SC&ST Dalits? How that exclusion vanishes when making use of even the untouchable SC Dalits' Skills and Knowledge of the Land and Farming to the advantage of the dominant caste hindus? How does that exclusion vanishes again when appropriating the SC&ST Dalits Agricultural Produce? How does that exclusion ceases when robbing the ST Dalits of the Minor Forest Produce? How does that exclusion is forgotten when stealing Forest Wealth of both the SC&ST Dalits? How does that exclusion goes away when taking away the Wealth, Mining Outputs of Metals Minerals and Gems from the earth, the rich catch of Fish and collection of rare Pearls from the sea? Most importantly, how does that exclusion contempt hatred pollution and even Untouchability are forgotten when the brahmins and other caste hindus lust for Dalit Women, Molest them and Rape them?

Castes and Caste System are becoming more stronger in India. They are getting into the modern life. They are being silently built into the Govt. They are entering into the administration. The brahminis are taking a strong grip over the Nation. The kshatriyas are trying to find a new meaning to their life, by serving the brahmins in the Political Parties, helping in the Election Campaigns, and playing a second fiddle in the Govt. The baniyas are finding new berths in Govt, Administration, Banks, Financial Institutions, Govt Business, Public Sector Undertakings etc. They are silently playing an evil subversive role in subverting their surroundings wherever they are, for their private benefits. They are slowly and steadily but stealthily, transferring the profits, businesses, capital, assets, and in the end the entire Govt and Public Enterprises, into the hands of their families and communities.

The Caste System is now getting reflected in the Govt, like Administrative Police Military Para-Military and Exclusive Services like higher Echelons, and Service in Space Research Programmes, Atomic Energy, Oceanography, Bio-Technology, Science and Industrial Research, and other lucrative Research and Development, as well as Teaching in Universities and Institutions of Higher Learning. There are also there in the Media and Judiciary. All these thrive, on the poor SC&ST Dalits labour work produce output creations contributions sufferings exploitations and discriminations, right from the remote rural and tribal areas to the centers of metropolis in Administration, Govts and Judiciary. As always, the wayward street dogs from amongst the SC&ST Dalit Communities are hanging around the brahmins kshatriyas and baniyas in the Party, Govt, Administration, Business, Academics etc to look for, wait and scavenge the spillages, droppings, left-overs, discards, crumbs and bones, and or are enjoying their caress.

Nothing can destroy or end the Castes that had continued over three to four millenniums, outlived successive conquests, survived serious challenges from rebel and new religions, won over new rulers, hoodwinked Colonial Imperialistic Govts, sabotaged the Rule of Law, and is subverting both Democracy and the Liberal Constitution. This in spite of the dangers it had caused to the People, Society and the Nation. That only because Caste benefits the dominant caste hindus, and also the hangers around from non-dominant caste hindus, non-hindus and even from the Casteless People of SC&ST Dalits. Hence Caste has to be attacked by all conscious People. And Caste and Caste Discriminations has to be fought by the whole World! When possible there should be an Universal Declaration against Castes, Caste Promoters, Caste System and Supporters of Caste System.

Caste is more difficult to understand and deal with. Caste is more horrendous and cruel than any form of Discrimination in the World. Caste that is based on Varna the Colour is Racial. Caste that is based on Height is Racial. Caste that is based on the Colour, curliness, length, thickness, denseness and texture of the Hair is Racial. Caste that is based on the Colour and shape of the Eyes is Race and the Discrimination is Racial. Caste that is based on the shape of the Nose is Racial. Caste that is based on the thickness of the Lips is Racial. Caste that is based on the size and shape of the Cheek bones and Chin is Racial. Caste Oppression is more cruel than Race Exploitation. Caste Discrimination is deeper than Race Discrimination. Caste is Race Plus, and more than Race. Caste is worse than Race. And Caste is more dangerous to the Life Peace and Progress of Humanity and the World..

Sir Herbert Risley in his work, had identified the following main Racial Groupings in India -

1. The Great Dravidian Race of the Eastern-Coast and the Regions South of the Vindhyas

2. The Scytho-Dravidian mixed-Race in the West from Coorg to Gujarat

3. The Aryo-Dravidian mixed-Race which is the main Hindustani Group from the Central-Indian Plateau in the South to across the Gangetic Plains including the Yamuna Valley running upto the foothills of the Himalaya in the North, and from the eastern-Punjab to the southern extremity of Bihar all along the Gangetic Plains on either side

4. The Mongolo-Dravidian mixed-Race of typical Bengali Groups in the Gangetic Delta from the borders of Bihar and Jharkhand to the Coastal plains of the Bay of Bengal

5. The Mongoloid Race of the North Eastern Frontier Area that now forms the beautiful grouping of the seven sister States

6. The Indo-Aryan Group that predominates Rajasthan Punjab and Kashmir Valley

Of the Six Racial Groups of India, Four are of Dravidian Origin, one exclusively Dravidian and the other three are mixed. Two are of Mongoloid Origin, one exclusive while the other is mixed with the Dravidians. One is the mix of the Scythians and the Dravidians. Two are Aryan groups of which one is again mix of the Dravidians. One could see therefore that the Dravidians predominate the Indian People, the Dravidians of the historic Indus Valley Civilisation.

PART III

There is a Great Opportunity for the World Community to discuss the Issues of the Problems of Caste and the Evils of the Caste System from India, and the historic Vexed Question of Caste Discriminations that continues even today in India, Pakistan, Nepal, Butan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Mauritius and other South-East Asian Countries, as well as in every Social Interaction within the Indian Communities living in America, Cannada, Great Britain and other European Countries. Since Castes, Dangers of Caste System and Evils of Caste Discrimination had continued for more than three and half millenniums, and India 54 years after Independence could not even touch its poisonous tail, the World Meet at Durban was really a Great Opportunity for India, to grapple with the issue. India could have with all humility gracefully accepted, the endless harm that is being caused even today by this ungraspable Problem, to the gratefulness of the 260 million Dalits in India alone. India could have taken full advantage of the WCAR Meet, and roped in the big Universities of the World and the eminent Academicians of the International Community, including leading Sociologists, known Political Scientists, interested Psychologists, concerned Social-Engineers, visionary Statesmen and women, active Politicians. Not only the Central Indian Government but also the State and Union-Territory Govts should have come to gather together along with those National Govts of the Indian Sub-Continent and South-Asian Regions, to Voice their Concern, Share their Ideas, pool their possible Resources including their brain-power physical-resources, material-assets and trained-men and women, to find some possible solutions at least in the twenty-first century. Everyone could have made the best use of the Durban World Conference, the UN Agencies, Western World where the Indians in large numbers are, and other interested Govts and International Bodies. Becoming jittery and nervous, trying hide the unsinkable was an unrealistic and totally unfair attempt. For Castes, the evil Caste System and the inhuman criminal Caste Discriminations can no more be kept in the wraps, unless the dominant caste hindus and their Govts in India desire to be rapped in the knuckles, and or wanting to be castigated as a criminally un civilized Nation!

Caste, Caste System and Caste Discriminations were deliberately conceived and are still being reinforced upheld and practiced with the singular purpose of maintaining Inequalities in the Indian Societies in India or living in any parts of the World.

Caste Discriminations are being practiced to Exploit Workers who all belong to the Weaker Sections,

Caste Discriminations are being practiced to Grab the Land of the Weaker Sections,

Caste Discriminations are being practiced to Take away the Belongings of the Marginal Farmers,

Caste Discriminations are being practiced to Refuse Land Tenancy to the Cultivators,

Caste Discriminations are being practiced to Appropriate the Produce of the Agricultural Workers,

Caste Discriminations are being practiced to Rob the Landless Workers,

Caste Discriminations are being practiced to Cheat the Workers from Paying Proper Wages,

Caste Discriminations are being practiced to Deny full Wages to the Marginal Workers,

Caste Discriminations are being used to Occupy the Houses of the neglected Casteless People,

Caste Discriminations are being used as justifications to Harm the People from the marginalized Castes,

Caste Discriminations are being used as justifications to Rape the Women of the Segregated Casteless People,

Caste Discriminations are being used to render Helpless the People Forgotten by the World,

Caste Discriminations are being used as justifications to Enslave Weaker Sections as Bonded Labour without any Freedom to Leave their Jobs or to move elsewhere,

Caste Discriminations are being used as justifications to take the Children of poor casteless People as Prisoners and Slaves, to force them at least for 12 hours a day without proper food drinking-water rest or medical attention, or leave and permission to visit their parents, or meet anyone around,

Caste Discriminations are the World's oldest biggest deepest and longest Prejudice that had ever existed,

Caste Discriminations are faced by the SC&ST Dalits everyday in their day to day life. It is OK for any cheap educated 'meritorious' senior official or an uneducated fellow on the roadside from any of the dominant castes in India or even in USA, to pick on a well educated Dalit Official or Professional or a Politician, or a Minister, and even the President of India, who today happens to be a well learned very experienced Administrator, but incidentally a SC Dalit. This is what every business individual, industrialist, manager, professional and academician do at every turn and every opportunity. For many it is either a pass time, or making a good use of any chance that come in their way, to pick on the SC&ST Dalits. The dominant caste Indian, whether hindu or buddhist or christian or muslim or parsi or sikh or of any other religion, is not sensitive or conscious at all to the damage and harm he or she is doing to their fellow Country People, ultimately the extent of Damage caused to the Peace in the Society to the Future and Progress of India, and to the actual Image of India in the eyes of any outsider. In reality, it could be much more worse. One has to be a SC&ST Dalit to realise the depth of it or feel the sharpness and pain of its sting. The dominant castes from India are not that foolish and stupid not to realise these. Perhaps they are! But for some at least, it is more important to insult the SC&ST Dalits, particularly the well educated independent and well-paced ones, like the SC President of India, or the present SC&ST Dalit Ministers of GOI, or even those prominent ones of the past. The dominant castes think that they are better endowed and far superior than the SC&ST Dalits. That is bull .... They don't realize that they are only as good as their actions, whatever be their birth, education, position, status, riches, wealth and the alike...., and definitely not by the colour of their skin or caste. It is how they conduct themselves, what they speak in public, say to their friends in private, or talk in confidence in office etc, that matters.

India is a great Nation. It is a Tolerant Nation. It Tolerates the Oppression and Exploitation of the Poor Weak Helpless SC&ST Dalits. It only in tolerates their Freedom Liberation and oppose them whenever they tried to stand up and talk.

Caste India, Congress and Gandhi opposed Baba Saheb Dr BR Ambedkar, the Messiah of the Dalits, when he wanted to attend and speak for the Dalits in the Round Table Conference convened by the Imperial British Rulers in London. Gandhi then said that he represented the Dalits, and he alone can speak their voice. What that manipulating Gandhi then wanted to muzzle was the Voice of the Dalits, and the Cry of their anguish for Freedom, Liberty, Equality and Justice! Today, about 70 years after that Round Table Conference in London, another Gandhi, a totally false, farce, duplicate Gandhi, wants to silence the Dalits, and suppress their Voice against the Oppression and Exploitation of the Dalits due to Racial Discriminations, that silently continues in the name of Castes and Caste System as defined by Varna Vivasthya, and in the name of Caste Dharma as layed down by that evil Manu in his Manu Smrithi! She is interested in bitches, other dogs and animals. As a Minister of the Govt of India, in charge of Social Empowerment, she is supposed to look after the Welfare, Protection, Development and Growth of SCs&STs, OBCs, Minorities, Muslim Waqf Properties, Handicapped, Women with Problems, Children in Difficult Circumstances, Social Defence, and Rehabilitation of the drug abused. Instead, she is interested in bitches and spends her time and Govt Money on the animals. What a distorted sense of Justice in the 21st Century? That is what Gandhis are about! What then the Congress did in the 1930s, today BJP and their whole lot of partners in NDA are out to excel. They are out in Durban to silence the Voice of scores and scores of Dalit Activists. What now BJP and NDA want to do, Congress is reported to have resolved to stand-by and support! Yes, the caste hindus of every colour and party have the same vested interests!

The SC&ST Dalits Resolve now is to neglect the Govt, the Officials, the Parties, the Official Delegations and their briefs, speeches, press releases, reports etc. In any case, who are they to speak about us SC&ST Dalits? We have our own Brains! We have our own Reasonings! We have our own Minds! We have our own Voice! We are Capable! And We can Speak out by ourselves! We don't need any Spokesmen! And we don't believe this Govt, and for that matter any Govt. What have they all done to us in the long 54 years after Independence? What all had happened during the last four millenniums of Caste and Caste Discriminations? They only spilled more blood, and butchered us in broad daylight, that too with the help, active support and cooperation of the Police and Central Forces, and packed us up in gunny bags! That was Chunduru in Andhra Pradesh, South India, in 1991! Can We Forget that ever? Can We Trust them now? No! No, No No!

Will the World believe them? Let us Wait and See!
